poem
Es mīlu tevi, bērnišķīgā iela,
Ar
visu tavu izdomāto mieru,Ar kilogramos sasvārstīto prieku
Un
to, kas visām strīpām pāri rauj.
Es
mīlu tevi tumsas antracītā
Un
laimes lietus noraudātos logus,
Un
tagad –ne ar pirmo mīlestību, -
Ar
pēdējo aiz kuras nav nekā.
Ar
to, kur beidzas ikdienības gaisi,
Ar
to, kur beidzas viss un sākas kosmoss,
Ja
tikai vispār kosmosam ir sākums.
Es
nezinu.Es zināšu varbūt,
Es
mīlu tevi, mīlu dzīvi tevī,
Es
mīlu visus vējus tavā vējā
Un
visus ziedus tavos pieneņziedos.
(Ojārs Vācietis)
I
love you,
Childishly
mischievous street,
Green
canyon discovered by chance,
With
your imagined tranguillity,
Your
meagerly rationed joys,
And
all that flows over your brim.
I
love you in the black coal of midnight,
With
windows in happy tears of rain.
It
is my first love, the love which Ilove you with now,
But
the last, when there”s nothing beyond.
That
love, whenall is ending and the cosmos begind-
If
only the cosmos ha a beginning.
How
can I”ll know some day.
I
love you, I love the life in you,
I
love all winds in your wind,
And
all the worldš flowers in your dandelions.

story
Kristaps aizgājis no būdiņas
jau krietna, bērns it kā iemidzis. Kristaps nodomājis: pārvedīšu rītā. Tā
paņēmis bērnu, ienesis savā būdiņā un noguldījis gultā. Pats nolicies turpat
No tā laika
Kristaps iesaukts par Rīgas Kristapu.
Kristaps was ferryman across the Daugava
River. He was big and strong stature. He had a small cabin side of the Daugava
River, in which he lived. When the pair should have to bring from one coast to
the other, people are summoned him. Once upon a time in the evening I was
already heavily late Kristaps hears the
river side of the crying child. Kristap
left the hut and asked: '' What you, little, need? '' - '' It is
necessary to cross to the other side! '' The good Kristaps did not want to
ride, but he thought the child crying, transfers well. Took the child and
brought to the boat. But your miracle - a child gets heavier and heavier, that
novel anymore by power boat to bear off. Darkness also has a decent child as if
asleep. Kristaps intends: trasfer
morning. It took a child, brought to your cabin and placed a bed. Most
nolicies nap right there in the ground. Morning he woke up, Kristaps stood up and walked to the bed to pick up the
child and transporting them across the river. But your miracle - a child was no
longer! Only, instead of where the child slept, was located a large pile of
money. Kristaps this money bought all Riga. Riga has been so low that the wolf
through the ablerun out. Since then, Kristaps nicknamed Riga Kristaps.
