SCHOOL OF EUROPEAN EDUCATION OF HERAKLION

In 1821, the Greeks rose up against the Ottoman Empire which had occupied Greece for almost 400 years, leading to the war of independence. Greek Independence Day is a national holiday celebrated annually in Greece on March 25. It is also celebrated by many Greeks overseas, with large parades in the United States, in Boston and New York City.

The national contest "Made for Europe" 2017: qualification for the national phase

We are glad to announce you that we are once more qualified for the national phase!

Today, March 24th took place the regional phase of the national contest "Made for Europe" 2017, the 11th edition.

The contest is being organized by the Ministry of National Education with the purpose of disseminating the positive experiences the preuniversitary teaching units have acquired as a result of being involved in European projects from the area of education and professional training.

Our school was represented by four students who have presented some of the end products of the Erasmus+ projects our school is a part of.

Antonia-Maria DUMITRU (3rd grade) has won the 1rst prize and has thus, been qualified for the national phase of the contest. She has presented the English Club established in the Erasmus+ project "Words Unite Us".

Third runner up: Ana-Maria BADEA, Rebeca-Alexandra DOBRESCU și Antonio-Valentin SAVU
